it is the combination of a good general health and physical development.

A physical fitness program goal is to maximize an individual's health, endurance and strength..

How to

The physical fitness program will vary according to the individual age, sex, body build, and physiology. Physical exercise methods include jogging, cycling, and the use of fitness equipment like body-building machines.

To realize these goals, the exercise should be regular, and only gradually increased in strenuousness.

Physical fitness can be achieved only if all these elements are present in the exact proportion:

  • Exercise
  • (regular and vigorous)
  • Rest (should be regular and allow recuperation)
  • Diet (proteins, carbohydrates, vitamins, and minerals)
  • Medical examination.(must not be neglected).

Military View...

In the military world, applications process contains what we call the army physical fitness test.

The individual will be evaluated to see if he is fit for a specific task. If he pass the test, eventually, he will be able to graduate for next until he finally pass... Those test include running (short and long distances), push-ups, sit-ups, pullups, and jumping jacks in hot or cold weather...

If you heard about the Physical Fitness Badge and wonder what is that, it is an award of the United States Army and is presented to those soldiers who obtain a score of 290 (or higher) on the 300 point scale of the Army’s physical fitness test.It is intended to recognize those who have excelled in physical fitness, a main areas of training for the United States military.
